About

Who We are

In 2018, the Toro Belle Literacy Foundation was formed to carry forth the founder’s passion for literacy and literature in the founders’ home country Uganda. The mission of the Foundation is to transform lives of the youth in Uganda through advocacy for the significance of a good reading culture for all the advantages that come with reading and knowledge expansion. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all youth through the power of literacy, i.e. the ability to read, write, speak clearly, and think critically.
